Presenting…

My new Canon EOS Rebel T5i

How to get a picture of it, I couldn’t figure it out so I’ll just show you a sampling of the wonderful pictures it takes.

This camera is all I expected.

When I got out my camera, everyone started asking me to take pictures of them.
Samuel was happy to be the first one.

Bianca, who is way better than me at expressing her excitement for my new camera.

My little blond brother. How blessed we are to have you!
This week one day, we were singing as a family but the boys couldn’t stay serious. Finally, Daddy asked them what was funny and they said that Leandro had been trying to sing bass.
It took awhile before we could sing properly again.
(I’ll admit that the bass on that song was beautiful.)

Mama made these jumpers for the girls.
And yes, they are almost caught up with her in height.

My last year with this wonderful three-year-diary.
When I started, I told Mama that I was excited because this part of my life would hold lots of excitement and changes. And it has.

  1. Hi yesenia:
With pictures of this quality, your aunties won’t need to go to the studios anymore, they can just come and see you! Keep it up!

    1. Thanks Linda,
I’ve already gotten some hints from them to that effect. The problem is that the girls are more into it and they have more ideas than I do. I’ve decided that I need to leave my ‘comfort zone’ a bit and be willing to do what it takes to be a photographer. (I have noticed that ‘photography inspirations’ hit me in spurts.) I guess for now, school and office keep me hopping besides all the things that a girl is supposed to be learning i.e. housework, piano, sewing, and cooking.

  2. Nice pics! We should get together one day for a photoshoot together. Maybe a Sunday afternoon??? Elizabeth
