Snow!

Playing in the snow is always so much fun. The boys had made a sledding track, so we spent most of the day playing on it. I, who thought I didn’t play in the snow anymore, found it to be very enjoyable. So of course I had to take some pictures and share them with you.

Bianca wanted to do this post but she wanted me to read over it before pressing ‘Publish’.

I gladly did so but since I didn’t have time right then, the draft got deleted. She sweetly wrote it all over and this time I was going to do it. You guessed it, it was deleted again. Now after a fruitless search everywhere and a lesson learned in keeping promises, I’m writing the post.

This being our third time in three weeks going to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park, I doubt that a description is necessary. However, the reason of our going does need a description. Our friends, the Klassens from Manitoba, who have come to visit us numerous times over the past few years, came again.

Last time they were here, we took them to Writing-On-Stone and now they decided they wanted to go there again. They invited us to join them, and so we did.

Their second-oldest daughter, Larissa, is around the same age as Bianca and Imelda and they thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures together. Here is a sampling:

Sisters

(May I use this picture to help reveal the fact that these two girls are not only sisters biologically?  They have become Daughters of the King of kings and are thus Sisters in Christ! Praise Him!)

Rudolf Nancy {Family Portraits}

My Aunt Nancy asked me to take family pictures of them.

Janice and Nacho’s youngest son, Micah, was celebrating his 8th Birthday and they had invited the whole family to Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park. This was the occasion and since it’s such a beautiful park, she took the opportunity.

I can assure you that a lot of prayer went into this shoot. Of course, I see some mistakes that I made because I look at it through the critical eye of the photographer but overall, I think it went well. And Tante Nancy seems to be happy.

Here they are, the happy little family.

I love Jaden’s little smirk on this picture.

Having Skittles almost sitting on my head was about the only way to get Ciandra to look at the camera. 🙂

This was about the only shot that Jaden was happy about.IMG_2429

I have to include some pictures of Micah’s birthday party since that is why we came to the park in first place.

These little ladies feel quite honoured when Bianca takes the time to take pictures of them and may I add that she loves them as her models?

Danielle, I love your smile!

So much for now, check back soon for another post by Bianca about our third trip to Writing Stone. (It seems that we almost lived there for a while.)
