A few days ago, I had the opportunity to take birthday pictures of Mackenzie. She is my sweet cousin and very photogenic, and we had a good time together.

 

I could post a lot more (I took around 200, which seems like a lot to me) but pictures take so long to load. So I’ll leave it like this for today.

Okay, so that is a pretty obvious statement, but I’m still excited about it. Here a a few pictures that are supposed to be about this delightful season, but we’ll see if I stick to it. I’m always going off on rabbit trails like our 1st year anniversary of living on this acreage (April 15) and a couple pictures of a family gathering we had on Sunday…  You get the idea. That’s what makes writing so hard for me, especially when I have a story to write in literature to like I do now. Okay, that was really off topic. Anyway, here are the pics.

And we can’t forget Alexa. She loves to wash her hands, which can get quite messy, hence the apron.

A few weeks ago we had a bonfire so here are some pictures of that.

That’s a lot of frozen motion, but I found this picture neat.

All riding on the tractor in an effort to relocate a large, and I mean a huge, rock.

Our darling puppy. We describe him with adjectives such as fat, lazy, and dumb, but we all really love our Timber. Here the boys are teaching him to sit.
