I’ve been trying to get more morning pictures, as I’m kinda tired of sunset ones. Now that the sun is waking up here so late, it works out a lot better.

These next couple pictures are still from our walk along the old sea wall. Once we were done there we cruised around in the downtown area, looking for a seafood restaurant. The one we ended up in turned out to be very fancy, to the delight of some and chagrin of others.

Downtown was almost as fascinating as the ocean

Sadly, I didn’t take any nice enough pictures of the restaurant to post. So I guess I’ll just leave that to your imagination 🙂 And yes, the food was really good.
The following pictures are from the next day on our way home

We stopped at a rest area near Banff, and I really enjoyed taking pictures there

Didn’t Imelda do a wonderful job with taking the two above pictures?

Piggy-back rides are the best!

And that ends our trip to British Columbia. Wishing you all a blessed day,
Bianca
My apologizes about getting this post to you all so late. I guess I just took too many pictures:) And now for Vancouver!

This city has so many neat bridges! We actually got to drive over this one

The ocean! Such an amazing sight! This was the first time we children saw it.

We actually walked part ways across the bridge yet. It was pretty high, and exciting

The old sea wall as seen from the bridge

The view from the bridge was amazing!

I really wanted to get a picture of the bridge without vehicles on it, but that was impossible. Not a chance!

Oh my skyscrapers, how I love thee!

So we got off the bridge and started down the trail toward the old sea wall.

Edgar and I were continually lagging behind, as we were constantly snapping pictures.

And that’s the same bridge again. I couldn’t quit taking pictures!

Arn’t they all so handsome! Well, I guess Leandro would qualify as cute.

My sweet Elfrieda!

I love that smile!

I think this is one of my favourites.

These next three were taken at the road turn-out as well.

I was so glad that we got a picture of us triplets again. Usually we only take them at birthdays, and then they don’t always turn out.

The children found this statue neat and wanted pictures by it

The fog was pretty dense at times

We stayed the night in Osoyoos, which a neat lakeside town. Sadly, I left my camera in the van, so I don’t have many pictures.

This was the view from the motel window.

On the road again

We drove through a very fruitful valley. There were ever so many orchards and vineyards!

These are from one of the many fruit stands we stopped at.

I love the way that yellow just pops out

Durning the summer our family had planned a trip to British Colombia. And now last weekend we finally went. I took so many pictures I decided to divide it into three posts. We left on Saturday and had originally thought that we’d go back home on Sunday. But we drove so far on Saturday that we realized that we were much closer to Vancouver than we thought. So on Sunday we continued to Vancouver and had a short but sweet time there. We started home that same day and arrived home on Monday. So that’s a summery of our great trip. Hopefully the pictures will make it more interesting. Warning: you’re in for mostly landscape pictures taken through the window while driving. You decide if that’s good news or not

Frank Slide. Every time we drive past there I am once again amazed.

And of course we had to stop at Tim Hortons 🙂

The fog, clouds, and rain just made it all the more beautiful!

We stopped at a turn out in the road and much to my delight I was able to take some clear pictures. I was pleasantly surprised at how willing the family was to be photographed:)

My sweet Daddy and Mama

This picture was strangely empty without Yesenia

I think this is enough pictures for now. Maybe this’ll turn out to be four posts instead of three:)

Isn’t amazing how a camera can just pull you outdoors when nothing else can? It was still quite early, before breakfast anyway, when Daddy texted me. It must have gone below zero durning the night, or, at least pretty close, but the sprinklers in a nearby field had still been going. It looked absolutely beautiful, so Daddy suggested I go take some pictures. It was very cold outside, but I went anyway. And was I ever glad I did! (Thank you Daddy!)

I could have taken a lot more pictures, but realized that my photos were already too repetitious. So I took pictures of everything else until finally the cold drove me indoors.

Love these two!

Leandro was out doing chores with Samuel

And that’ll be it for now,

School has been keeping me busy lately, hence the quietness on my end. But here is another post.

I love that smile!

And here are some pictures from a couple days later. It was rainy and cold, but the camera dragged me outside.
